Barbara has been involved in the holistic approach to healthcare for over 30 years. Based in Chorley, Lancashire, she is a fully qualified clinical reflexologist, trained with Ann Gillanders in 1991 at the British School of Reflexology (Essex). To provide more opportunity to help a wider range of conditions, although specialising in Reflexology, Barbara is now also fully qualified in Aromatherapy, Swedish massage, Indian Head Massage (also known as Champissage or Eastern Head Neck and Shoulder Massage), Hopi Ear Candling (also known as Thermo-Auricular Therapy and Reiki healing.

She is a full member of:

  • The British School of Reflexology (MBSR)
  • The Association of Reflexologists (MAR)
  • The Federation Of Holistic Therapists (MFHT)

These organisations all set standards for reflexology and complementary therapy training and have ‘Codes of Ethics and Practice’ to ensure a high degree of professional integrity and healthcare standards. These Codes of Conduct are strictly followed, thus providing peace of mind when seeking treatment. Total professionalism and confidentiality are assured at all times.

As well as running a small friendly reflexology and complementary therapy centre in Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire since 1996, Barbara has also practiced at St Catherine’s Hospice where complementary therapies are highly valued and respected. The therapy centre in Euxton is situated within beautiful private grounds providing ample parking and a relaxed tranquil caring atmosphere.

Barbara is committed to professional development, and is regularly exploring new techniques and constantly updating and refreshing her skills and knowledge in the therapy field.
